Bidco promotes the development of education

The company has joined the league of other few companies in the region who are committed to supporting and uplifting the education standards in the country. With an annual budget running into millions of shillings, the Bidco Education Trust Fund will give new hope of brighter future to bright students who have done well at various levels of education but are unable to continue due to lack of funds. So far a number of needy students around Thika have benefited from the fund, the latest being one Mr. Mark Silale of Thika High School Whose fees from form one to four has already been paid by the company. In addition to this, the fund will also be used to educate the dependants of deceased employees of the company as a way of expressing gratitude to the deceased family. Bidco has continued to promote the development of education standards in Kenya over a period of time. The company hosts on a daily basis, several colleges, universities, high schools and other learning institutions on education tours and facility visits from all over the country. This is in addition to offering several college and university students internship opportunities to prepare them for the working environment. The company also supports several charitable organizations and institutions within and around Thika town through donation of its products, services, cash, time and effort from management and workforce. It aims to transform the lives of its people, customers and stakeholders positively through giving back to the society as a way of thanking them for their continued support. Most of these are learning institutions and other charitable organizations hosting destitute children and orphans. The wholly Kenyan owned company has strong commitment from its entire management and boards of directors to see the Trust fund as well as other noble initiatives transform the lives of the community around it. The company’s has a slogan of ensuring happy healthy living to all its customers, employees, community and other stakeholders by providing quality products and services.
