Bidco Oil Refineries Ltd is giving back to the society in a special way this festive season. The giant Thika based soap, margarine, edible oils and hygiene products producer is determined to put a smile on the faces of the less fortunate members of the society this festive season. The company over the weekend donated assorted products, among others, bar soaps to the inmates at Thika G.K Prison as a Christmas Gift.

Speaking during the function held at the Prison premises, Mr. Mitul Shah, Bidco’s Head of Sales and Marketing, said the company was happy to put a smile on the faces of the less fortunate members of the society. Mr. Mitul added that the company is determined to extend its slogan of “happy healthy living” beyond its walls especially this festive season.

While thanking the management of Bidco for the kind gesture, the Officer –In- Charge of Thika G.K Prison Mr. Samson K. Kiunzu asked the rest of the society especially the private sector to emulate Bidco’s gesture and visit such reform institutions this festive season.

Bidco has in the last one week donated assorted products worth over one hundred thousand shillings to various homes and charitable institutions in and around Thika. Though Bidco donates so much of its products every other day, it has expanded this program to ensure that more less fortunate members of our society gets something to smile about this festive season
