Bidco partners with Tupike Cooking Club
 Bidco Oil Refineries Ltd partnered with Tupike Cooking Club to give women and other cooking enthusiasts a forum where they can share their ideas and experiences as well as get coaching and instructions from professional chefs.
The TUPIKE event took place on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st August 2008 at Sarit Centre, Expo Hall B. About 150 participants, mainly drawn from A, B, C1 socio-economic class attended the event, with others sending their cooks.
The participants got hands-on cooking experience following instructions from three chefs from TOP CHEFS. Various cuisines were prepared using the various oils, fats and margarine donated by Bidco. Some of the cuisines prepared included mayonnaise, orange and carrot cakes, herbed chicken, chocolate swirl cookies, pepper steak and sauce, pumpkin soup, Mexican corn pancakes, chicken salad sandwhich and spicy potato fries amongst others.
Bidco provided its premier oils, Elianto and Sungold, margarine (Biddys), Baking powder (Mariandazi) and fat (Kimbo) as well as gratis products given to participants.
