His Excellency Mwai Kibaki, President of the Republic of Kenya visited Bidco Oil and Soap Limited (BOSL) in Dar-es-salaam on 16th July 2009. BOSL is an important manufacturing expansion in the Africa region, and subsidiary of Kenya’s Bidco Oil Refineries Ltd. The Refinery physically processes all types of crude palm products. The fractionation process is the process by which refined palm oil is scientifically cooled and then filtered by pressing to obtain two separate fractions called Refined Palm Olein and Refined Palm Stearine. The Refined Palm Olein is packed into Bidco products and our leading brands are Golden Fry, Korno Gold, Bahari Fry and Kimbo oil. The Refined Palm Stearine is a major raw material for laundry soaps and toilet soaps manufacture. Our top brands include Mshindi, Kuku, Bull and Lulu. The Refined Palm Stearine is further processed and used in Shortening and Margarine products by blending Refined Palm Oil and Refined Palm Olein with other ingredients. Bidco Oil & Soap Limited is having capacity to produce 220 metric tons per day Laundry and Toilet soaps as well as soap noodles.
