The Thika based Bidco Oil Refineries Ltd held a big end of the year 2008 party for its members of staff in spite of the hard financial crunch biting the country and the rest of the world.

The event held at Ruaraka Sports Club in Nairobi on Sunday 7^th December, 2008 saw a total of over 800 members of staff and their families treated to delicious dishes.

Entertainment for the adults and children as well as drinks were in full supply as those in attendance danced their day away into the night.

While addressing, the members of staff and their families, the company CEO Mr. Vimal Shah thanked them for their hard work and dedication which saw Bidco bag the prestigious Company of the Year 2008 award for its good management practices. Mr. Vimal was also crowned the Chief Executive Officer of the Year during the event organized by Kenya Institute of Management
