    Recipe Name:   Buffalo Chicken Wings

    Ingredients:
  • 1kg chicken wings
  • 5 tbsp Bidco Gold'n Pure sunflower oil for frying
  • 4 tbsp (60g) Bidco Gold Band margarine
  • 1tbsp Tabasco sauce
  • 1small bunch spinach

  • Method:
    1. Cut the tips of the chicken wings and discard. Split the remaining part of each wing into two pieces at the joint.
    2. In a large saucepan, heat the oil over moderate heat.
    3. Add half of the wings portions and fry for 12-15 minutes until they are golden brown.
    4. Meanwhile, make the cheese dip. In a small bowl, blend the sour cream, mayonnaise, cheese, parsley and vinegar until well mixed and set aside.
    5. Drain the first batch of fried wings on a baking sheet lined with paper towels. Keep them warm.
    6. Repeat steps 3 and 5 for the remaining portion of the wings.
    7. In a small saucepan, melt the margarine over low heat and stir in the Tabasco sauce.
    8. Toss the drained chicken wings with the Tabasco sauce mixture.
    9. Cut the spinach into small pieces and arrange the wings and spinach sticks on a platter.
    10. Serve with the cheese dip.
