Bidco has been honored by Hope Worldwide – Kenya, a faith based NGO, for its efforts in the fight against HIV/AIDS at the workplace and the surrounding communities and awarded a trophy for having the most comprehensive HIV/AIDS workplace program in the entire region. While presenting the trophy to Bidco peer educators’ during the launch of Thika Centre of Hope at Gretsa University - Thika, Hope Worldwide-Kenya Operations Director Mr. Nicasius Kimani commended Bidco management led by the CEO Mr. Vimal Shah for leading from the front in the fight against HIV/AIDS. He also thanked Bidco for initiating the talks with Thika based CEOs that culminated in the formation of ‘‘Thika Business Health Initiative", which is aimed at enlightening the larger Thika community against the dangers of HIV/AIDS Also honored at the function were 3 of our peer educators for their initiatives and tireless involvement in the company HIV/AIDS workplace program and activities.
